Globally Renowned Purdue to Acquire Kaplan University
Purdue University, one of the nation's most respected universities, will acquire Kaplan University and create a new, nonprofit, public institution within the Purdue system. Pending regulatory approvals, this exciting transition is expected to take place in the first quarter of 2018. This change will be seamless—during the transition, you will still be able to enroll at Kaplan University, earn a high-quality education, and meet your educational and career goals.
Kaplan University provides special support services for our military students, including a flexible deployment policy and consideration of military training experience and prior coursework for college credit.* The undergraduate tuition rate has been reduced up to 55 percent per quarter credit hour for active-duty servicemembers and reservists. For veterans, undergraduate tuition is reduced up to 38 percent per quarter credit hour. Kaplan University also offers reduced tuition rates on graduate programs and for military spouses. Kaplan University participates in the Yellow Ribbon Program.
