Hi my name is Santiago Ramirez and I'm currently enrolled in online classes at Strayer University. With a creative and marketing background, I’m very thankful for the experience that I've had in my career, but I've always felt the lack of a 4-year degree has kept me from advancing in my career and allowing me to find a position in a company that will compensate me for what I'm truly worth.

I had reached a point in my life that I had to make a decision about what to do and going back to school was the only option. Strayer University seemed like the only solution to balance school, work, and family life.

In the past few years, I have moved across the country to Knoxville, Tennessee and decided to start a family. It's great being a Dad and now I know that I have to be the best that I can be and better myself through education. I've also realized that by going back to school I am setting an example for my son and by attending classes online, I have found the best way to manage my time in order to spend it with those that matter the most—my family. I'm currently in pursuit of a B.A. in International Relations and thanks to Strayer University, I plan on graduating in late 2010.
