Overview
Located in the heart of the Pittsburgh cultural district, Pennsylvania Culinary Institute provides focused culinary education and career-oriented training while allowing students to explore individual creativity. PCI has helped students become qualified professional chefs, bakers, and restaurant managers since its foundation in 1986.
Student Appeal
Instructors possess industry knowledge and experience to help guide students in the culinary profession through career advice as well as world-class education. Students have the opportunity to directly apply classroom learning to kitchen labs and professional externship programs. All equipment and facilities are regularly updated and maintained to reflect the most current industry technology. Academic advisors are on hand to assist students with tutoring and study aid. Career services are provided to assist students in finding the right career and in finding part-time employment while attending school (if necessary).
Financial
Financial aid is available for qualified students and includes federal and state loans, grants, and work-study. Tuition Planners can help students develop a strategy to finance their educations. Pennsylvania Culinary Institute is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology.
