Overview
The University of Scranton Online is designed for working teachers, and its Masters in Curriculum & Instruction prepares working teachers for higher pay, transitioning into administrator roles and overall better effectiveness in the classroom.

Student Appeal
Students in the online program are taught by the same professors that work on campus, and yet they can take the classes any time of day wherever they have access to an Internet connection. Students have easy access to faculty, and lectures are taught in a streaming video format.

Financial
The University is accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE), and financial aid is available for those who qualify.

Programs Offered:
Students must possess a bachelor degree to enroll in master degree programs.

  • MS Curriculum & InstructionMS Curriculum & Instruction
    This 12-course program is meant for teachers who want higher paying jobs or who want to generally advance their careers. The program can be completed in as little as 14 months, and emphasis is placed on critical thinking skills and practical, hands-on exercises.
  • MS Educational AdministrationMS Educational Administration
    The Master of Science in Education Administration degree is a comprehensive program that provides teachers with the knowledge they need to become exceptional leaders in their organization. Upon successful completion of this program, students will have gained new knowledge and realistic perspectives about general school administration, comprehensive supervision principles, school finance and law, organization in democratic society, administration of instruction and personnel, and other school/district related administration issues.


*Students must either be a current teacher, have a valid teaching certificate, OR be graduating soon with a teaching degree.
