Overview
Founded in 1889, Saint Leo University combines advanced technology and qualified professional instructors to provide online education through interactive media and distance communication. Students can earn an Associate or Bachelor Degree while studying Business, Computer Information, Criminal Justice, Human Resources, or Liberal Arts. All classes can be completed without setting foot inside a physical classroom.
Student Appeal
Students can bring the quality of traditional classroom learning into a virtual environment with the convenience of studying from home. Classes begin at six different times throughout the year.
The Center for Online Learning provides degree learning to over 5,000 students around the world. Students control the pace of their education to accommodate busy schedules. The Saint Leo Career Services Website provides career counseling, time-management techniques for studying, interactive interviewing skills videos, and information about choosing a career or graduate program.
Seven MBA concentrations allow for a wide variety of business management specialization, while small classes of no more than 25 students enable students to receive focused attention.
The Criminal Justice program through Saint Leo University incorporates core values and a strong ethical foundation into a \"practical program of instruction\" to effectively and efficiently educate future criminal justice agency administrators and workforce managers.
Financial
Financial assistance is provided to qualified students through federal loans and grants, Florida resident grants, need-based assistance grants, and military assistance. Institutional awards are also available, but limited to a few students. Saint Leo University is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools(1866 Southern Lane, Decatur, Georgia 30033-4097; telephone 404-679-4501) to award the associate's, bachelor's, master's and specialist's degrees.
