University of Phoenix is accredited and challenging as any other University. But if you attend, please pay close attention to your money. I have experienced on two occasions now, they took funds from my loans and grants and did not pay my refund as schools are supposed to.

Then when you go to ask questions some of their advisors (two out of 4 in my experience) are rude and do not want to give you information. If you get information, it is always a different answer from what it had been before. In the end, you do not receive your money and they get away with it. This has happend twice in the year and a half that I have been there.

I am in my second year and I will be getting my AA in Information Technology in October. I am the type of person that if I am pointed in the right direction I will succeed. The teachers are like any teacher. Some are great and some are like robots and refer you to the syllabus.

I am a single dad and have a schedule to keep that includes taking care of my daughter. This school fits my life style perfectly.I read when I go to my daughters sporting events and bring my laptop with me and write papers everywhere I go and I have a free moment. UOP is a place I would recommend to people that are self motivated and want a degree and won't accept no for an answer.

I AM CURRENTLY A STUDENT AT UOP, AND IT SEEMED TO BE A GOOD SCHOOL IN THE BEGINNING, IT IS UNPROFESSIONAL, THE ADVISORS NEVER KNOW ANYTHING, THE SCHOOLS MAIN FOCUS IS MONEY, MONEY, MONEY. I CANT SAY THAT ALL OF MY INSTRUCTORS WERE BAD BECAUSE SOME WERE GOOD, BUT HERE WERE OTHERS THAT WERE JUST RIDICULOUS. YOU WORK HARD ON A PAPER AND EVEN SUBMIT IT TO THE CWE AND MAKE CHANGES THEY STILL GIVE YOU A BAD GRADE FOR NO REASON AT ALL.

FOR THE MATH CLASSES THERE NEEDS TO BE MORE RESOURCES TO HELP STUDENTS UNDERSTAND. THEY WILL MESS YOU OVER WITH YOUR FINANCIAL AID, THE WORK LOAD IS CRAZY, THE COST OF CLASSES ARE REALLY TO EXSPENSIVE, DONT GO TO THIS SCHOOL OR EITHER TRANSFER TO ANOTHER SCHOOL, IT IS NOT WORTH IT AT ALL, THIS IS THE ONLY SCHOOL THAT HAS BEEN ON GOOD MORNING AMERICA, WHAT DOES THAT TELL YOU.

I get my Associte in July, and have really enjoyed all my classes except one.(Com-220/Female)I've found that some of the instructors teach like ROBOTS if you ask a question its alway refer to your course syllabus which sometime are not clear. WE ARE TO LEARN and some instructors treat you like a child, if it wasn't for us they wouldn't have a job to teach. Over-all the school is good, I've been thing of transfering to another school. I've only spoke with my advisor three times and she was unprofessional
