If I would not lose 7,000 dollars I would drop out of my program. I have never had so many rude teachers for an education I had to take loans out to pay for!!
my student advisior never answers my calls, and I never recieve job leads like i was told I would. I feel like you people rip students off and they are the ones paying you people.
the teachers at this school need to go back to school themselves. I have had students cheat off of my online discussion posts and emailed the dean and my teacher and nothing was done. so wrong.

I second the review about not having any assistance with the externship. I to had the same problem they would not return calls or messages until I finally said I am calling a lawyer then they finally called back only to say that my advisor no longer works there and again no assistance! Do not waste your time and money on this school.

I have been a student with SJVC online. I have done two programs and payed ALOT of money for my education. I have had numerous problems trying to get a repsonse from staff!! When I started this school was very organized, NOW NOT AT ALL.
You must wait 24 hours for a response from anyone. So what are these staff memebers doing in the office?? The school even sent me a book that fell apart the frist time I even opened the book. The school switched over their learning pages and expect you to just figure it out because even their staff has not been trained on how to use the web site. What great teaching skills NOT!

I got my Associates of Science degree in CMA from SJVC Online. The classes were good, for the most part I like the teachers at SJVC. Honestly I have not found a job in my field and I can not say it because of SJVC.
Medical Assisting is not as "booming" as everyone makes it seem, unless you have several years of experience in Medical Assisting, then you will have a hard time finding a job in that field. I however transferred my entire degree into a bachelors degree program at another university and hope to find a stable career after I graduate from my new school.
I finished my Associates degree in 16 month's which is great and I found it useful to transfer for credits so I liked SJVC because of that, I can't say that the degree I have helped me get a job though because it has not. I think SJVC is a good starter for your college career if you plan on going beyond your associates degree because you can use it towards further your education, that is what I will suggested it for.

They make you think it is the top Respiratory Therapy school in the area but for $43000, I could have saved some money and achieved my bachelor's degree and waited to get into the community college's program.
The current classroom instructor's have limited clinical experience only home-health care experience. They also treat you like children. I have children and I don't treat my children that way.
