I took a Statistics class online at Saint Leo University, which was through the OCICU. It was the worst online class I ever took. It was extremely difficult and the book didn't explain things in enough detail. I emailed the instructor for help, but she rarely got back to me in time. I ended up having to get help from someone locally, who delt with numbers and statistics on a daily basis, and they couldn't even understand the book.
Luckily, I did pass the class, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. It took up way too much of my time and was extremely stressful.

I withdrew with a zero balance they charged me $116 threw on another 50 dollars in late fees then sent my file to the credit bureau without alerting me.
This practice is unfair and when I contacted them they lied and told me about phone numbers I didnt have when we spoke.(i.e. they told me they talked to me on the phone I was calling them on in July the phone wasnt turned on until October lol)when I alerted to this they said talk to the collection agency, they have no desire to help former students.

I am an active duty Army Soldier, and yes, it has taken me 11 years to complete my degree with St. Leo. I took my first four courses prior to 9/11, then deployed consistently and continuously over the next 7 years. I resumed my education about 3.5 years ago taking 2-3 courses each 8 week term while in Korea, Japan, and Honduras (traveling continuously at each location). St. Leo's courses, instructors, technology, and library were consistently challenging, demanding, and always interactive and helpful.
My academic advisor has always been extremely responsive and helpful. I transitioned from tuition assistance to using my Montgomery GI Bill as well while completing my degree. Everyone involved was efficient and responsive to my financial aid requirements. I do not understand, nor can I agree with any of the negative reviews posted thus far.
Along with these things, I was inducted into an honors society with the university and invited to attend a dinner, campus tour, and ceremony. The campus, staff, and ceremony were professional and well established. I am thoroughly impressed with everything about this institution which has existed since 1889. I will continue my graduate program with St. Leo.

is a total joke. Incompetence is the only word for this. If this is the type of work that this school is hiring...then there's something truly missing there. No help. It's almost as if they want to mess you up. Without the financial assistance, it's impossible to go to this school and when they withhold the financial aid until it's too late...then it's too late. The worst. Run!
