Im glad a found this school There is a lot review negative, I didnt have any problem what so ever. I did my carrier computer forensic and it was everything well done.

I am very pleased to say that Penn Foster is a great way to learn while already working in your field of choice. I am currently a certified technician and i recieved my diploma through penn foster! The program outlined for you is awesome! I am currently attending for med coding & billing to expand my horizon. Researching, and study materials can be found throughout the internet i.e youtube, wikipedia, as well as resources & library provided online from Penn Foster. GREAT SCHOOL! THANKS PENN!

I do recommend this school. I have never been harrassed. I receive all books on time. It's all at my own pace. The info in the books are deff. what I need to do the job as a travel agent. Why I say you get what you pay for is because it is just that. This is very inexpensive. With that being said it is for a reason. You are teaching yourself. Yes your supplied all of the books and aids, but you are teaching it to yourself. Yes you can call and ask for clarafication from an instructor and they will explain. It is much better than paying the crazy price that most all other online schools charge you to do the same thing! That is to teach yourself.

If you feel you don't need to be in the classroom then this is a great way to go. The real training in whatever job you do will ulimatly be gained on the job. With this program you will the tools, the knowledge to be able to understand what your doing when you finally get to do it.

This is not a school, it is a business. All they want is your money and don't care about how you learn. I've take online courses with other colleges and I can tell you that this self-paced stuff is a load of crap! I can't get my questions answered, the instructor's comments are misleading, and I'm getting grades that are way lower than I deserve. I have to dumb myself down to get a good grade.

First off let me say this... The people saying this is a scam have some axe to grind with the school like they didn’t do the work required or thought this would be a free ride or didn’t make their payments.

That said this type of school is not for all folks. If you are not a self starter or not disciplined enough to keep up with the studies then a more conventional school may be for you. They will not hound you to turn in assignments or keep up, that is your job. What they will do is give you a good value and a good education. You will get out of this what you put into it. The responsibility for doing the work is yours. As far as some of the comments on slow shipping, when you hit certain points in your program the next lessons are sent out automatically. So you should never be waiting on material.

Some of the instructors and staff I have talked to on the phone could definitely have been more polite but this is a small trade off for a school that fits my budget and time restraints.

Be responsible and take charge of your education and you will reap the benefits of a nice school at a nice price.
