I am in my last class of my MBA program here at National University. I can honestly say that it was worth every penny. The professors are top notch, advisors are great, and value is exceptional. The course work is very challenging and you often feel overwhelmed with the amount of work due but if you keep focused these are the courses you feel are most rewarding.
The point of attending any school is learn. There is no doubt you will do so here. You won't be able to get away with just doing the minimum and get a passing grade. This school will require the best of you and you will actually have to put in your time
It also seems they are constantly improving. Over the time I have been here they have put so much effort in improving technology and the over all educational experience.
I highly recommend this university.

National University may offer a person the flexability to work and go to school, but it's classes are full of busy work. There is the normal midterm project and a term paper. But you are also given a lot a work, busy work. A normal college treats you like you are an adult, and you do your projects. But National has you repeat everything you learn through test, discusion boards, which are short essays, numerous short essays. If you go to National, be prepared to do twice the work you would do at a normal on campus school.

I transferred to National University from a community college and it was a great experience. I had to work my way through college since I came from a poor family and National allowed me to keep my job and to also get an education that would have taken my many years to complete at a CSU.
I found that National to be more difficult and the professors expected more from me than in the course work compared to community college. I finished my BA and I have been very pleased with my overall experience at National. Is it a perfect university? No, but I do not know how any university can please everyone all of the time.
I was able to move on to earn a master's degree at Pepperdine while continuing to work and found that the coursework expectations were slightly below National's. Overall, I would say National helped me achieve my dream of getting a good education and college degree. Today, I have a comfortable living and I owe a lot of it to National.

National University (NU) was on the best experience I had during my college years. At my undergraduate I attended one public and one top ranked private university and transferred to NU. Indeed to support my family with a full time job and continue my education at them mean time, I had to look for another option to accomplish this goal. And NU was the right option that suited my full time work schedule and family needs. Without NU I was unable to achieve this dream.
Currently, I am pursing my advanced graduate degree among 100 top ranked private schools in US. Because of small class size you will have great amount of time and face to face to interact with classmate and professor. NU has an average class load but that all depend on your professor and class requirement. Some classes were challenging and I really loved it. I had to take few classes online and the rest on campus. This is what makes NU an awesome place to attend; not just online but brick and mortar as well with good regional reputation. Their online classes are one of THE best because of the excellent interaction between classmate and professor.
Threaded discussion is another interesting NU’s online learning tool. Most NU students are adults who came from variety of work background; therefore, you will have a great learning experience. At NU you are treated as an adult by peers and professors and every one respect your opinion. The majority of NU professors have PhDs in their field which makes it another important aspect to bear in mind.
I attended NU for almost three years and I never had any dispute with my classmates or professors. At NU I did not have any wild parties but it was an outstanding journey that I will never regret. NU has a decent tuition rate comparing to other private nonprofits institutions. NU shares the same principles for the education of undergraduates and graduate as other public and private universities. Most importantly NU is a nonprofit university and it has endowment so the profits won’t end up in shareholder’s pocket as in the case for profits universities. Consider taking classes at a nonprofit college because comparing tuition rate could make a big different.
Last but not least, I have read some negative comments about NU but in reality there is no perfect school out there, they all have their negative and positive reviews even top ranked schools. The most important thing to consider is affordability, quality of education and flexibility. I don’t want to compare NU to no other school but if you are able to attend Duke or Stanford then go ahead and do it. On the contrary, if you have a full time job/ family duties then UN would be the top pick for you.
