Interesting Fact:
National University’s online students have access to the third largest electronic library in the nation, with over 80,000 virtual publications.
National University is growing rapidly and its becoming more convince for many people these days. Because of budget cut and etc., getting accepted into A public school these days is very difficult especially in CA. I don’t want to compare and contrast schools there are many of bad and good schools out there. Know what you want to study and what are you paying for. I went to top 110 ranked private Catholic graduate school. I was paying around $1200 per ONE credit. I later discovered that National University has A much stronger teaching method. I believe National University is best to purse your graduate degree.
A good option for you

The truth is that we are obsessed with college rankings. A college is more selective than another college does not necessarily mean that it is a BETTER college. National University (NU) is all in one, brick and mortar, online and hybrid and regionally accredited by WASC.
I attended public school but I heard positive viewpoints from various people about NU. I am planning to pursue my graduate degree at NU. If you read about any university review you will find Negatives and Positives views. Those who failed and couldn’t make it will COMPLAIN. However, anyone who made it will SHINE about it.
I think making decision of selecting school is your choice. You have to know your needs and objectives. If (pop+ mom= rich) are paying for everything then attend IN or OUT of state selective/ Ivy League school. But if you are hard working person with full time job/ family responsibilities then I believe NU would be THE perfect option for you out there.
Moreover, if you look at any job/career education portion requirement, they don’t specify or ask about degree earned from top 100 ranked colleges but rather from REGIONALY ACCREDIETED SCHOOLS.
I highly recommend National

I recently earned my bachelor in Public Administration and minor in Business Law (on campus). I had great experience and I was very satisfied with every subject delivered. Most importantly, National is regionally accredited The Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), organization, is recognized as one of six regional associations that accredit public and private schools, colleges, and universities in the United States http://www.wascweb.org/.
National is not a party school, you got to be serious to achieve good grades. There are many people out there disapprove National University and compare it to other private or state colleges. Every single college has their positive and negative views. For example, some people stated to me that "National University degrees are good inside San Diego region only."
When I asked them why? Or what is regional accreditation? Imagine almost none gave me any correct answer. Just to let you know I won the argument.
Moreover, numerous people like to attend certain colleges including "good food", "beautiful campus", "good football team" and etc... The whole purpose of attending college is getting a good quality of education. You tell me please, what can I do with good food or nice campus?
Also, there are a lot of international student attend National, therefore; when I asked them why choosing National? Their answer simply was, low costs comparing to others schools and the fast tract system one class per month. This school is not for everyone, if you're looking to party or have good food quality then you should pick another school.
If you like doing school work, have full time job/career and family responsibilities then National is the bridge to achieve your educational and professional goals.

I'm in my 10th class- the last before the thesis- in one of National University's Masters programs. 7 out of the 10 have been horrific experiences, with this last one being the worse by far. The instructor is inept with the material, cannot operate any of the computerized functions, and has difficulty peaking the English language.
Multiple complaints, from multiple students,to the Dept. Chair didn't really accomplish anything worthwhile. So long as they can make a buck, the administration could seem to care less.
I wish that I had made a better choice for an academic institution. By the way, before this last class I was carrying a 3.97- now? Don't even ask.

I attended and graduated from National University with a graduate degree. The instructors were generally very good, with only a couple of marginal profs.
Many students who complained after bombing out were simply not prepared for the independent nature of grad school. No hand holding, and no procrastination allowed.
Like most colleges and universities, there are now and always be complainers who were not able to matriculate through, or just are not capable of the rigors required.
How "good" is NU? Well, having graduated from a total of three universities covering all types (brick and mortar, online and hybrid - all regionally accredited) I give NU a 7+ out of 10.
Are they supreme? Nope, but NU is god enough that you can get what you are looking for if you put in the time and effort.
Run...

WARNING...DO NOT CONSIDER NATIONAL UNIVERSITY. DON'T DO IT!!! I just got royally messed over by National University and they got away with it. I paid over $5,000 for one online class. They outsourced my training and IT WAS SO BAD I QUIT! They are sneaky, deceitful, and downright awful as a school. They don't care about the student...they just want the money. SAVE YOURSELF THE GRIEF...DON'T GO
This school is a rip-off

This is the worst university. The staff have no idea what is going on. One person tells you one thing, then you talk to another person, and they say "no" that is wrong. They are not on the ball, I am always calling them to get things going, the last straw, alls I need is my student teaching, they placed me in a school not in my town. So they expect me to drive 60 miles round trip to student teach, while not earning any money, when I called to complain, they say too bad, so I have to drive 60 miles on a dangerous icy road to get my credential, or I am out of luck, they do not care. They care about overcharging you, and that is it.

Not only is National a well recognized school but the programs and advisors are wonderful! Their online instruction is WAAAAAY better than their major competitor, University of Phoenix which I attended for my undergrad. And National’s in class instruction is filled with highly qualified professors. I currently attend the Ontario Center and boy do they have an awesome team. Everyone is there to assist you and enlighten your educational world! It’s not a rip off and definitely not unorganized. How a well recognized school be unorganized??? Not the best university ever! Go check them out yourself, you will not be disappointed.

I completed my BS in Information Technology at NU. I would have to say that almost every instructor I had was extremely knowledgeable in their subject and were good at teaching. Even the few instructors that I would rate lower than most were not bad. All of the instructors were highly engaged in the teaching process.
The courses are short and requires you to do a lot of reading very quickly. Most all classes also had a team component that allowed you to engage in conversations with other students.
Overall, I was very satisfied with the knowledge I received while earning my degree.
A Rip off!

I would never recommend this school to anyone. They'll encourage you to take classes until you're broke and then say it's your fault for not finishing. They lie, cheat, and steal.....and worse of all....they ruin lives.
One word...Unorganized!

National sucks. That's pretty much all I have to say. They lost paperwork that I submitted, the turnover among staff is frequent and annoying, and they refused to correct a mistake that they made with my admissions records. Do yourself a favor, and find another online school. This one was a waste of a lot of time, money, and energy!

At the age of 51, and caught up in the political doldrums of finding a job and having only a GED, I enrolled at National University. In two years and 10 months I had my B/A in Inter Disciplinary Studies. It was this fantastic learning experience that led me to become a teacher, earn my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction, become a Lead Teacher and now opt to be a Principal. From $16,000.00 a year as a welder, forklift operator and then to a teachers Assistant; and finally becoming a teacher at $46,000.00 per year to start was because of National University. I recommend this to any person seeking to advance their education and professional position.

My online learning experience was positive. The flexibility, variety of degree choices and knowledgeable instructors made this learning experience intellectually and career rewarding for me. Each semester, the instructor and students submitted short bios allowing everyone to become acquainted with and supportive of each other, and communicating was readily available through postings, threads, etc. Contact and response time from the instructors was timely. When considering an online education keep in mind that this area of learning is very fast paced, therefore, self discipline and general computer knowledge is definitely required.
