I attended this school with the promise that i would be able to receive an associated degree. What a trap! I did get certified as an Electronics Systems Tech, but I wanted to obtain a higher education than just being a tech. What happened was that the school did not offer me an associated. They said other locations did offer the assoc. degree, unfortunately this one did not. Just a certificate. When I tried sending my Lincoln College transcript to a different college, none of the classes I took are college credits. I had to start from scratch. Which meant more MONEY! Luckily, I managed to take my loses and attended a school where I then received an associates in applied science in Electronic Engineering. I also have found a great job and I'm currently pursuing a BAEE.

I attended Lincoln college of Technology in July/2009. I was enrolled in the medical field and thought that it would be a very good learning enviornment...but i was wrong. The Admissions People only care about getting you into their school, the teaching is way too fast and doesn't cover all of the material, just part of it. If i'm paying for my education, why cant I get my moneys worth? Lincoln College of Teechnology (in West Palm Beach) is a waste of time and money as far as I'm concerned. In my opinon, it is just a pretty picture painted to lure you into their school for the first two to three weeks then thats when you realize that you're not really learning anything besides basic stuff that you could learn online by searching Google or Youtube. It's a trap!
And besides, online, on their webbsite, they offer programs that aren't even available at the campus anymore such as massage therapy and interior design. So people get excited and go into the office thinking they will be able to be a massage therapist and get tricked into wasting their thime going there just to realize they dont have tha program anymore (and gasoline isn't cheap these days). I would never recommend this College to ANYONE!

It saddens me to see those bad reviews. I attend in Indianapolis and this school is awesome! They have an acceptance test so those who can not afford or have time to take the GED test can take the acceptance test and qualify for schooling.
Also they provide all the information needed about grants and financial aid and whatnot. Since I was a stay at home mom and had no income the past year I am fully approved for grants that will pay for all my schooling and supplies. My husband is currently going for EST and he qualified for one grant and a great financial aid assistance.
The Administrators listen to your needs and concerns and do everything in their power to help you out. The admissions representative was just awesome.I don't know how else to describe her except awesome. They also understand that I have 3 daughters 5 and under to take care of all day and my husband works all day as well so they worked out a schedule to where we could both attend and still be able to take care of our normal responsibilities as we did before.
I would recommend this school to anyone and everyone and I have to my little brother and he is currently enrolled and awaiting to attend his first class there as well.

My husband attended 4 days in the automotive program and the classes were not what he was looking for and decided to not pursue the education anymore, and spend the money. He recieved a bill for those 4 days for 2700.00 and they will not budge on the price because he apparently signed that document about cancellation. This school is rediculous how can they justify almost 3,ooo for 4 days of class!!!

I am currently attending the campus in Lincoln, RI. I would NEVER recommend this school to anyone.
I am in the night classes, because like most people in the night class, i have a job. The teachers assume we all have time to do activities in the workbooks, and to study, and they dont understand why we're not prepared for tests...HELLO!!! WE WORK ALL DAY.
We're not even being taught, and we have to teach ourselves. the teachers i have now just sit there and tell us what to do. The staff and administration are a joke. they always want you to tell them any problems, but when you do, you get yelled at, or in my friend's case, expelled. they dont care. dont bother voicing your opinion.they dont have they're stuff together, and my class (and im sure some others) are paying thousands of dollars for absolutly nothng.
The communication in the school between the 2 instructors that you get is terrible. nobody has any idea what is going on. its ridiculous. they dont care about you.
finacial aide meetings were also another problem. they suck you in and leave you with a million questions that never really get answered.
overall, this school is awful. dont waste your time and money like me and many other students.

Lincoln Technical Institute, I honestly feel, has been a tremendous waste of time and money for myself. I am paying close to 14,000. to attend, which is not cheap, and the quality of the school and teachers is extremely poor.
Daily in class, we have our teacher yelling at us that we do not know how to behave, and that she is not dealing with us. With that being said, there are only a select few who there is a problem with. We are all addressed on every issue as a whole, which is wasting the entire class's time and money that they are giving away each night to attend. I did not enroll and spend all this money to be treated like a middle school student. Nor, have to deal with the rude remarks and drama that is brought upon daily in the school.
I do not recommend the school one bit. Maybe other locations are better, who knows. As for the Lincoln Tech in Lincoln, RI, save your money and time! Big waste. If someone could have warned me ahead of time, I would have been so grateful. That is why I am doing this now, to hopefully save someone before it is too late and the loans are pulled, because once they are pulled, you're responsible regardless.

I am a student at the Lincoln Technical Institute. I am in the HVAC-R program at the school. The course is challenging. The knowledge being learned is what's needed on the job. I've read many reviews which are negative. You need to realize that negative reviews come from negative people who are not open to learning. You only get what you put into school. This is true anywhere.
The teachers are knowledgeable. The students are irresponsible. I feel 1000 percent smarter since being here. If you read the other reviews, you will notice typing and grammatical errors. That doesn't seem to be a very reliable source of information if you ask me. Go on the tour and find out for yourself.
