I did some checking after spending a year at Keiser. The paralegal program is not approved by the American Bar Association

Online Accounting program

Isel Hernandez - May 19, 2010

Do not get a degree from this school. I work at an accounting firm that will not hire students from Keiser. I am going to FIU in the Fall.

Accounting program

William Quirein - May 18, 2010

This program is a rip-off. Faculty never help you and the department chairman could care less if you pass or fail.

Keiser is all about the money. I will be going to FAU for a real college degree.

LOL everyone has to pay to go to school

Danielle - May 15, 2010

I have to laugh reading some of these reviews. Hello, you have to pay to go to college. It isn't just handed to you, plus you actually have to attend and put in the effort. Some people aren't satisfied with the pell grant, no they expect a free ride. This is a school for people who never went to a regular dorm right out of high school straight to a University on a scholarship.

It has an extremely flexible schedule, good professors, convenient for people who also work a full time job. I previously worked for an online University (started with a K, no need to name bash) and it wasnt a bad school but way overpriced! I didnt even like working there because I didnt even believe a bachelors program would cost 66,000.

I attended University of Phoenix and absolutely hated it. I love school but the programs are pathetic. All you do is write stupid papers in APA format about crap that has nothing to do with your degree major, on top of that, everything is based on TEAMWORK and TEAM ASSIGNMENTS.

So basically you pay for a degree that is dependent on what you do AND what someone else does. What if you get someone who does nothing and slacks and you get a bad grade? Too bad, you have to pick up the slack.

It was the most pathetic school I have ever been too. Keiser has great admissions advisors, price is great, it is regionally accredited and for the people who think that is not fully accredited, IT IS! I have been working in admissions for over 2 years now and I have to admit Keiser is a great school and I am happy to say I am a student there.

I also work for Fortis College which is an online college focusing mainly on medical coding and billing and medical assisting degrees and it is a great school as well. Not only do we give laptops and ipods to our students (to download your lectures which i think was definitely a fabulous idea and very convenient) it is based upon full customer service and really building a rapport with your students, not just some admissions advisor who talks to you for 10 min, wants you to sign up, and then leaves you to figure the rest out on your own.

I make sure I help my students every step of the way, i follow up every term, and I still talk to my students. I have to say that Keiser is a great college and I would recommeded it or the college I work at (Fortis which is located in orlando, fl off Lee rd) without a shadow of a doubt.

Education is very important to me, as well as a good experience with admissions, enrollment process, easy to follow professors and/or online forums, and also the rapport you build with the staff. And also a good financial aid office who will help you get the best deal to help you in whatever your current personal financial situation.
