Very well organized courses which were delivered online .Lots of case studies, interations with the professors and students made it a very live, interactive and fun experience. The only thing is that online courses are never easy (as is the general impression) and do require more work on part of the individual. But the instructors were extremely helpful and it was fun to network with people from different parts of the country and learn from their experiences.

I've been in the program for 9 months and it is BORING. This isn't my first experience in onine education but it is without a doubt the worst experience I've had. I was assured that this program would provide a different approach to the field of education and it does... a useles, unrealistic and entirely hypothetical approach. NOTHING can be readily used in a teaching environment. I'm maintaining a 4.0 without effort. I haven't bothered bying a text book for my last four classes. Most of them are written by the people that designed the class. It's a waste of money and all of the information can be found online anyway. Some of the students in the class come across as being idiots, but I have no doubt that they probably have a 4.0 too. You've got to remember, it's a "for profit" university. It wouldn't do them any good to flunk students.
I haven't had the problems with customer service that others have had. Although the school does hang on to the financial aid refund a lot longer than most schools do.
The degree won't be worth the paper it's printed on. I don't even put the school on my resume. I'm embarrassed to be a part of the system. Right now it's just helping me to kill time until I start a different program next summer. (So yes, I'm wasting money by staying in it.) I hope others are smart enough to find a real education elsewhere.

Student support services are extremely poor to say the least. Financial aid needs constant supervision. After refusing to speak to my assigned Financial aid adviser and request to only speak with the department heads, I still had to call in every time to ensure my funds were correct and sent on time. If the department supervisors can't get it right, it makes sense why the rest of the department is a complete failure. Academic service counselors are the same, no one knows what is going on. It seems like they are always on vacation, returning from vacation or just a lack of overall communication skills. It seems like I am always having to call in or file complaint reports to student affairs. Classes are completely repetitive with the same subject each time, just paper after paper. Professors give little to none of constructive criticism and seem to only look at APA format. Grammar and punctuation from students is baffling especially, at higher grade levels. Only positives I can say about this school is the course navigation and online capabilities. Otherwise, this school is terrible. Save your time and money and invest them elsewhere.

After researching this school online and seeing the accreditation I thought it would be a good fit. Was I ever wrong. Student services here are POOR to say the least. The financial aid department and student services departments are a joke. Not one person in any department has any idea of what is going on. I have had to call in several times to each department to make sure my financial aid was on time and in the correct amount, which it never was.
Also, my student services counselor never registered me for the proper classes along with responded to me when I had questions. Each class is completely repetitive, nothing innovative to learn, just write paper after paper with the same subject (profile an organization). Professors give little to no feedback and always give an A grade. I am a great student with a good work ethic however, I can always stand to learn something, constructive criticism would have been greatly appreciated. After almost 4 years at this school and $55,000 in debt, I have little show for it besides a 4.0 gpa that I think a 4th grader could probably earn from this school. What a complete waste of time, money and effort. My advice, RUN!!

My son had some health issues and needed an online school. I researched this school and was impressed with their accreditation. Everything was going well until his advisor left and the new one did not know anything. Then he went to get certified in Education to teach and the college has submitted the form 5 times and it has been wrong all the time. They forget his degree, the wrong person signs it when the college told the Dept.of Education the dean of education has to sign it or it is not valid. No one at the college knew their own rule.
My son was not prepared to be in the classroom and now can not teach in Sept because of the college. I have been in the field of education since 1975 and have never seen such a lack of preparedness, lack of communication from the college to the students, or people say sorry but that is too bad. I intend not to help you.
