I took Travel and Tourism course and it was a waste of money. There's no teachers' support. It's hard when there were at times I needed a help or have a question regarding on the course and there were no one to answer. You'll only hear from these people when there is a delay or if you miss a payment. The worst thing is..they are not recognized by anyone in the industry.Although I gain some knowledge,I was never hired in this field.Companies hire people who attended Universities or colleges.

*Positive Review*

I have taken two course with ICS Canada. The Teacher Aide and the Child Psychology. They were both great courses. The Teacher Aide was very informative. There was always help when I needed and my books were delivered in a timely manner. I have now enrolled in the Occupational Therapy Aide and am disappointed as the material seems to be outdated. I certainly am learning some valuable information though. All in all I would recommend ICS Canada.

I took the Medical Transcribing course and it was a complete waste of money. The course was inadequate, there was NO teacher support. You will only hear from these people if you miss a payment. And worst of all, they are not recognized by anyone in the industry. I am now studying with a reputable company...Canscribe.

Don't Waste Your Time

I would not recommend taking a program through ICS Canada. I recently took the Legal Assistant/Paralegal diploma program. The course materials were so outdated (much of it from the 1990's) and innacurate, and hardly pertained to Canadian Laws.

I was luckily hired as a receptionist at a law firm while attending ICS, otherwise I wouldn't have had a chance of entering into the legal field, as no lawyer I have talked to even recognizes the school/my diploma.

While ICS may seem like a great deal with it's cheap tuition prices, I strongly discourage anyone from taking a course with them. It's not worth your time, effort or money. When I asked ICS why the materials were so outdated they said they would be updating them soon. Instead, the legal assisting course I took is no longer offered...hmm, I wonder why!

I regret taking the bookkeeping progr...

School not recommended by Mark on June 18, 2010

Before enrolling into I.C.S learn.ca in the bookkeeping program, I was really excited by it until I was reciving the materials from Penn Foster. I was not happy with that. I learnt alot from my bookkeeping program with basic accouting principals but I'm still having problems with Keystone furniture project.

I've decided not continue with my project since I don't know where to start, everything seems so confusing even after completing all the lessons. Good Luck getting help from the instructors, they won't even answer questions to your satisfaction. I blame myself being so naive to even enroll into this distance e-learning school.

I just want to payoff my tuition and get out of ICS data system forever. I will be currently studying at business school at a university level in fall 2010. I rather display a degree from university than from DETC because I know with university degree is it fully accredited everywhere.
