FIT has proven to be a wise choice for me in every remarkable sense...so much so that I am looking forward to calling myself a proud Florida Tech allumnist one day.
Make no mistake about it; FIT's MBA curriculum is difficult and quite demanding, particularly for those who don't have a business background.
What I appreciate most about the program is that it has challenged me, and has enhanced my ability to analyze details and think critically.
Like many of the reviewers on here have suggested, the instructors essentially operate as facilitators, while the actual teaching/learning is accomplished by the students (via online forum discussions, homework assignments, & team projects), however; the instructors are quite helpful when questions are asked of them.
In my analysis of the course work, FIT's MBA program is brilliantly constructed to provide the student with an incremental learning experience, whereby each course provides a building block for each successive learning segment. This inturn establishes the framework for the student's continuous learning process. Consequently, the student's learning experience will only be as enriching as the effort that he/she puts into it, like anything else.
Another benefit that I have gained from FIT's MBA program is that it has helped to "de-mystify" some of the hidden logic behind the strategic decisions that corporate VP's make, and that is valuable.
In closing, I can say, without reservation, that Florida Institute of Technology is an outstanding little school, and I would gladly recommend this school to any friend or family member. Also, you must visit the main campus in Melbourne. You will undoubtedly develop a strong appreciation for the school and its continued contributions.

I have had a very good experience going to FIT. I attended UOP online and attended a community college in the past and I can say that this school is worth the effort. The professors are knowledgeable, the student services is very helpful and faithful with correspondence, and the classes are challenging. I especially like the fact that as an online student I have all of the rights and privileges of a student attending classes at the school including an ID card. I like this school so much that I would consider getting my Master's degree with them.
To the people who have getting jobs or who claim to be having trouble with the school, somehow I doubt it's the school's fault. Learn to communicate effectively with people and you shouldn't have any more problems.

These people are worse than telemarketers! I got a call almost every 5 minutes from someone asking questions throughout the entire semester. Not to mention, they wanted me to take classes that I had already taken at my previous college and not in my own time! It boiled down to "you either take these classes in your first or second semester or you can't continue". I replied that I have already taken these classes and will send them the transcript but they said "oh well, you can't register again until we get the transcript".
Then I find out that I wasn't even speaking to someone from the actual school but some 6 dollar an hour telemarketer from a Call Center. WHAT A JOKE! The actual school had no idea this was taking place. I left and went back to my old school. Much more pleasant!

I have just signed up for school with FIT, I was searching for months online for a great online school to enroll into...and when I came across FIT, I have been happy ever since!Admission advisors are hreat and also the Financial counselors.Everyone is very supportive and class starts in a couple of weeks and I'm ready to Work hard to obtain my Degree!
My advice would be is to be self motivated, keep your head up and dont look for excuses for anything! look at everything you CAN do vs. CAN'T do...

FIT online is an outstanding program. All of the professors have at least a masters degree in their field. FIT is rated as one of the best universities in the country by US News. The people in student services are helpful and honest.
If you are having problems with missing documents, instructors, etc. it is most likely because you are not puttting in the effort necessary. This is no different from a regular campus atmosphere as far as effort required. FIT is not an easy program.
To the person who said your credits are not transferrable, you are misinformed. FIT is a regionally accredited university and all credits are transferrable to other major universities as long as they apply to the program. I am not sure where people are getting their information but it is not correct.
Also, you are not forced to buy books through the school. Unlike other schools I have attended, FIT will give you the ISBN's if you ask. I get my textbooks on Amazon for a fraction of the cost. All you have to do is ask instead of complain about everything.
Lastly, I saw a review written by someone claiming that the instructors never answer them and that there is too much homework. Well, your post appears to be written by a 3rd grader, so I am assuming that you don't actually attend this school or you fell through the cracks. More likely, you are struggling because you are not capable of passing classes with FIT. I would recommend a school such as AIU or Phoenix for you. Maybe that will be easier.
You can't blame the school because you don't study or don't do what you need to do to get fully matriculated as a student.
