I am actually just trying to get enrolled to the school. I regret it and have not even been enrolled yet. I have about 10 Student Finance Planners and they have all been calling me everyday asking for information about my mother's credit, loans, grants, blahh, and blahh.. I am only supposed to pay a little.. so why have so many loans and stuff. I want to just pay what I owe after I graduate like it is supposed to be... so before I got myself into trouble... I e-mailed several "Planners" and asked for a print out of what exactly my expenses would be and why I needed so many loans... I e-mailed for of my advisers so far and none have answered me. Thank God for giving me a brain to research the school before I got myself in trouble. I am 19 years old and fresh out of high school.. so this is really disgusting behavior to me.
They will tell you anything to try to get you to enroll. They make all types of promises that they can't keep.
I am in the Criminal Justice program and transfered from Kaplan (who I do recommend!). The advisor told me that with transfering credits, I could graduate with an AA in a year and a half. My year and a half is up and now they tell me that I need 10 more classes. That translates into more time and money.
Apparantly the first advisor doesn't really have any answer. You need to wait for the "real" advisor who has no idea what went on the the first one. If you don't tell #2 what #1 said, #2 will just go along and give you the mininal number of classes not telling you that your plan made with #1 doesn't work.
Of course, it's MY fault for not being sure that #2 knew all the facts. If this is the way it is, why was I talking to #1 at all? I was totally misled. I won't even mention that the largest part of the student body dosen't seem able to put together a sentence, let alone punctuate it. This is not the school for you if you want a quality learning experience.
You can't even get them to answer the question regarding whether they are reagionlly accredited or not. I got shifted all over the place when I tried to find out.
This college is a joke, I attened there MA program, the professors were great but were not teachers but other MA's. The school was horribly expensive. My books did not match the test material and was out of date.
Dont bother, I passes with honnor roll and still cant find and job and people hiring look down on me because of my school.
I am currently enrolled in everest college and have been for about a year now. I enjoy some of classmates, but some of the professors there have no social skills at all.
The school is expensive and you have these loans fafsa and grants and you personally don't see any of the money like other colleges who give you financial aid to help you while you are in college this school does not and it makes me wonder what they are doing with your MONEY that you get from the government.
I have never attended a school like this and I am on the verge of calling it quits.
