This review is written to warn individuals who may express a desire to enroll in the Nursing Program at Everest Phoenix College. I am not writing this review due to anger; I am writing this review because I believe every person in the healthcare industry should possess integrity and act in a dignified manner. The administration at Everest Phoenix College does not possess such qualities.
I am extremely disappointed with the negative behavior patterns, degrading judgmental attitudes, lack of training and the disrespect the nursing administration at Everest Phoenix College expresses towards their students. Had I been warned of such behavior, I would never have chosen Everest Phoenix College as my source of education. If I were you, I would choose a nursing college that values an honest quality hands on education and not a college that outsources student training via videos, U-tube and ineffective PowerPoint presentations as their main teaching device.

I attended the Everest College - Arlington Campus and it was the WORST situation of my life!! The school only wanted money. They didnt care if the students learned, had enough materials to actually learn nor did they care if we had working equipment... I am so furious that I have to pay back a student loan for a school that should have been listed as a fraud.
Going to the Dean of students didnt help either. Bottom line they just wanted my money! Nothing could have prepared me for what I went through..."IF I DID IT YOU CAN DO IT TO..WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?" Go anywhere but EVEREST!!!

I am actually just trying to get enrolled to the school. I regret it and have not even been enrolled yet. I have about 10 Student Finance Planners and they have all been calling me everyday asking for information about my mother's credit, loans, grants, blahh, and blahh.. I am only supposed to pay a little.. so why have so many loans and stuff. I want to just pay what I owe after I graduate like it is supposed to be... so before I got myself into trouble... I e-mailed several "Planners" and asked for a print out of what exactly my expenses would be and why I needed so many loans... I e-mailed for of my advisers so far and none have answered me. Thank God for giving me a brain to research the school before I got myself in trouble. I am 19 years old and fresh out of high school.. so this is really disgusting behavior to me.
They will tell you anything to try to get you to enroll. They make all types of promises that they can't keep.
I am in the Criminal Justice program and transfered from Kaplan (who I do recommend!). The advisor told me that with transfering credits, I could graduate with an AA in a year and a half. My year and a half is up and now they tell me that I need 10 more classes. That translates into more time and money.
Apparantly the first advisor doesn't really have any answer. You need to wait for the "real" advisor who has no idea what went on the the first one. If you don't tell #2 what #1 said, #2 will just go along and give you the mininal number of classes not telling you that your plan made with #1 doesn't work.
Of course, it's MY fault for not being sure that #2 knew all the facts. If this is the way it is, why was I talking to #1 at all? I was totally misled. I won't even mention that the largest part of the student body dosen't seem able to put together a sentence, let alone punctuate it. This is not the school for you if you want a quality learning experience.
You can't even get them to answer the question regarding whether they are reagionlly accredited or not. I got shifted all over the place when I tried to find out.
