Ecpi university has been a great experience for me. I read alot of negatives, but almost all of them are about money and come from people that quit the program and then are mad they have to pay for the classes they took. I am about 4 classes away from graduating with my Bachelors of Science in Business, and have already been accepted into a Doctor of Chiropractic program.

All of my ECPI credits were accepted, and getting my degree here has been one of the best decisions i have ever made. Most all of the instructors are very knowledgeable and the student support coordinators want you to succeed. Success or failure is up to you.

Awsome Experience

I've haven't graduated from ECPI but I am 4 classes away. I would've completed the program but I was military and Uncle Sam given choice orders to Hawaii. Tough decision. Their instructors are top notch and they know their stuff. They just don't hire anybody. If the instructors dismisses the classes early too often their let go without hesitation.

I've only taken a few online courses with them but the way it works if your near the campus you come in once during the week for additional instruction and if there are any further questions.

Overall ECPI helped me fill in the gaps. If you have any issues the instructors go the distance. I've seen their checks they receive. They should.

Let down

ECPI breaks their classes down like this, 2 classes every 5 weeks. Sure sounds good but what happens when they do this is a mess. You are constantly scheduled for the wrong class, it's not uncommon to do absolutely nothing for the first 2 classes and spend the rest of the term trying to play catch up because they are constantly switching what room you are in because the rooms will not be properly equipped for the class they are supposed to be hosting.

Most of the class rooms are ill equipped for the classes and prove to be a hindrance to learning. All of their technology based classes are behind the times and teach outdated information. Most class rooms are hidden from you the day of orientation because they resemble storage rooms.

All class lectures are scripted by another company and require the lecture be presented through power point, decent idea except when several of the class rooms are not supplied with computers.

Scheduling is absurd and involves giving you classes that you do not meet the prerequisites for, if they schedule you for both your classes. They regularly make schedules involving two different classes at the same time, not same day, exact same time. I was forcefully scheduled for two online classes when even though I did not sign up for online classes, and was refused books until the 3rd week of a 5 week term.

Just don't forget if you need to transfer credits from ECPI will not follow you. None of the credits will follow. I would just like to stress that fact.

This is not a recommendation but a plea, do not go to this school, you will be very disappointed.

THE BEST COLLEGE DECISION I MADE!!

School recommended by Angela on October 01, 2010

I recently graduated from ECPI on June 25, 2010 and I just want to start by saying I loved it. I now i have a EXCELLENT job making well over 12 dollars an hour just starting out and fresh out of college but I do have to say I work for specialist in obstetrics. I recommend this college to anyone with a buzy life married with children or just with children in gerenal, even if your fresh out of high school they have day or night classes and they dont have classes on fridays so that is a plus as well so if you are thinking about attending ECPI then go for it you will be please and thankful for your decision the same as me so GO FOR IT DON'T LET ANY ONE STOP YOU !!!

Thank you and i hope i helped you make the right decision "Graduate of 2010"

Got my BS degree online in 2.5 years!

I am very satisfied with my experience with ECPI online. They may not accept all of your credits, but that is because you ONLY have to get 120 credits to get your BS degree, not 180 like Kaplan or UOP, so there aren't as many classes to compare for. You can go to other places and get more credit, but I bet the cost will be more! For the cost, the services, getting help finding a job and having an accredidated degree, it can't be beat!!! I am very happy and would definitely suggest online classes with ECPI.
