DO NOT enroll in this school! It is one of the worst colleges ever! These people are lazy and don't do anything to help students!!! They twist things around and they will ignore you if you file a complaint against them! You will learn little if nothing by attending this school! Their instructors are not knowledgeable or competent in the areas in which they teach! You have been warned!! Enter at your own risk!!!!

To be quite honest, I found my experience at City University of Seattle to be quite sufficient. Having a somewhat strong background in accounting from previous studies I thought that this program would be somewhat of a refresher for me-I really just wanted a certificate of completion to move forward with my career. What I did not expect however was to be greeted by professors who delivered with a passion for the subject. I had been somewhat of an "inside the box" type of thinker but City University let me see the whole picture, not just what was in a textbook but what was happening in real life. I know find myself applying what they taught me not just in my career but as a person who lives and breathes. They taught me that life is not out of a textbook and that theory is one thing-application is another. Was there a downfall to my experience? Taking a good long look in the mirror was eye opening-hard to do but greatly appreciated as time went on.

I think going to college really helped me learn to love learning (haha), be able to articulate myself, and give me the varied background to gain a more broad perspective of the world. I particularly thought that City University helped me to create a responsible and ethical framework from which I could carry out my life and career. I would highly recommend this institution for anyone who loves philosophy, questions the status quo, and who wants high philosophical challenge even if the coursework is not neccesarily ivy league difficulty. Students who go here and love it are a very certain type -- those not hung up on status and ranking and wish to make a very real impact in the world.

I liked the professors. They would always take the time to meet with me and when I had team projects, there was a very collaborative culture there. It was invigorating to have so many bright and high energy people to study with. I also liked the job placement office. They began working with the students in the first semester to identify career goals and strategies for pursuing those. The facilities at the City University of Seattle are not the best I've seen, but they are fairly modern and well maintained. Overall, I think I got a good value for my tuition compared to some of the private schools that I considered going to. As far as improvements, I think they should get more guest lecturers from the business community to share their current experiences--their input would have probably made the educational experience seem more connected to the real world.

I started school several years ago, but dropped out. I was working a lot in a field I was interested in, but not sure where I wanted to go with it. I wondered if I would ever get back to school. Then I found City University of Seattle.
First, they are fully accredited and they accepted transfer of my credits from the junior college I had attended. Second, they actually gave me some credit for my work experience in a related field, and that really made me feel good. I got credit for what I already knew, and I felt like my time working was even more valuable, and I got my degree faster! Third, I still had to work, so I really appreciated City University of Seattle's flexible hours and learning resources. I was able to fit my classes around my work schedule and I made use of their on-line learning program for some of my classes, that helped a lot.
My first contact with the school was really when I talked to my academic advisor the first time. He was so helpful, he made the registration easy, guided me through financial aid paperwork and helped me find my way around the course offerings, to make sure I was getting the classes I needed for my degree. Any time I had questions, I just called him. If he wasn't in, he always called me back right away.
I met a lot of nice people at the University, many of them like me, working and going to school at the same time. I wasn't the only one who had tried college once before, and that made me feel good too, I wasn't alone. Over all my experience with City University of Seattle was very positive, and it got me the job I have today, which is great, so I'm happy.
