They don't know anything about their jobs, they tell you things that are not true, their communications skills are poor, they don't listen and they don't pay attention to the things that you tell them. I didn't find out until I was halfway through my certificate program that I could not continue because of prerequisite course that I found out I didn't even need. I'm on my third advisor and she's not much better than the first two. Out of the three instructors that I've had, one makes up the rules as she goes along and her government class lacks direction.
went to the accreditation meeting with the online students, and other walk-in local students. My biggest problem at this school is the lack of motivation of the students. Anytime they have a program or anything, most students avoid them like the bubonic plague. If the students were more motivated, and willing to join the meetings and etc. I feel the school would be much better!
Other than that, I think it's a pretty good school.
Hey all the last comments show that the decision for accreditation was still pending, but if you look at HLC website the accreditation was upheld and the school is fully accredited and a great option to all as the curriculum is world class with the hands on application from Jack Welch and Suzy Welch.
There was supposed to be a final word last week from the accreditor as to whether or not the university is still accredited. That was in Crain's last week.
I heard that TODAY is the day that they get the word from the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association as to whether or not they are still accredited.
WHEW, what a mess! See, that's what happens when you allow poor leadership to remain at the helm and when you don't provide proper oversight.
I hear there is a big meeting at 3:00 p.m. this afternoon about what is UP!! I'm so glad I'm out of that mess!!!
