The online graduate degree program at Boston University is exceptional.

I've been surrounded (virtually) with motivated, intelligent, professional and diverse classmates. Every class proved to be challenging and pushed me academically. I have grown exponentially as a person and as a professional.

Each professor came from a unique and highly qualified background and proved to be experts in the subject at hand.

This 2-year program is not for the faint of heart, it takes a lot of work and every free moment of your day but it is worth every sacrifice you’re willing to make in the pursuit of your master’s degree.

Masters Criminal Justice - Online

School recommended by recentmcjgrad on August 11, 2009

I completed the Boston University Online Master of Criminal Justice Program in 2009 after having worked for many years in the field. The program was well designed and comprehensive. Each course was interesting and relevant.

From an academic perspective, the Boston University experience was overwhelmingly positive. One word of caution. The program is extremely demanding in terms of time and effort. Coursework consumed nearly all of my free time throughout the duration of the program. I'm not complaining, but anyone considering the program should keep that in mind. Overall, the MCJ program at Boston University was highly satisfying.

Masters of Science in Management

I just finished my Master's of Science in Management on line at BU and it met all my expectations. The courses were challenging and I enjoyed the entire program. The Professors are the same as in the "live" classes. It is perfect for a busy business professional as I could "attend class" anywhere, anytime and anyplace and at a part-time pay as you go price. It took me about 2 years. I highly recommend the on-line education experience at Boston University. It's a great University.

Boston University School of Law J.D.

School recommended by Valerie on June 24, 2008

I liked the reputation and quality of the school and its location in the city. However, I would have preferred a more cohesive campus. Each school was an isolated building stretched along Commonwealth Avenue. I did not practice law when I graduated and in some ways it got in the way of finding the type of generic entry level employment I was seeking. I eventually became a software engineer, but when I lost my job in a lay off in 2002 I was unable to find another position, until I eventually decided that re-invigorating my law license offered a more secure future. I am now a general manager for an income tax franchise and those individual and corporate income tax courses I took have really helped, but I have had a lot of catching up to do when it comes to specifics!

Master of Criminal Justice

The learning experience proved to be a learning experience in and of itself. I wasn't all that familiar with online tools or applications for schooling, as I previously went to the University of Massachusetts for my undergraduate degree. I found all the tools, students, and professors to be quite helpful in achieving my end result, a masters in criminal justice. It took me a short while to get accustomed to what was required from the University but once I got all the kinks worked out it turned out to be a great experience.
