I am in the military and close to retirement and I wanted a Bachelor’s Degree fast. A friend completed the Bellevue University Logistics Management program and recommended it. The program was 12 months long and each class was 4 weeks. We had the same instructor through the accelerated program.

We may have received a 5-day break between some classes, but most classes were continuous. It was extremely demanding and I felt the material was challenging. If you have poor time management skills, you will fall behind and fail the program. I spent 1 ½ hours a night reading or writing papers. The instructor held you accountable for the quality of work that was submitted. I received feedback on every assignment. I was able to call or email my instructor and discuss my assignments. He also gave me advice on my plans for graduate school. I was given positive feedback and encouraged to pursue a graduate degree.

We used the blackboard, which is an online program to submit our work and have discussions. The papers were required to be in APA format. We also had power point presentations that were embedded with audio. Bellevue University has resources in the online library to assist you. One program was Noodlebib and it was perfect for referencing your work.

My interaction with my classmates was positive but I did not like the group project. It was difficult for people who were geographically separated to communicate. I like to stay ahead on my assignments and sometimes people in a group do not share that philosophy.

The staff was great and they treat you like and adult. If you do not tell them you have a problem, they cannot assist. I also believe they are military friendly because they accept your CCAF degree. I have recommended Bellevue University to anyone that is interested in a quality education.

I attended Bellevue University from 2009 - 2011. I completed the Business program online, and found it to be rather challenging. I chose the accelerated program, so I had to put myself into high gear just to keep up. However, I enjoyed it, and feel as though I've accomplished a great feat.

The University has a very good credit transfer program, as well, which was the clincher for me (when choosing which school), as I already had an Associate's degree, as well as many additional credits from courses taken since receiving the AS. But, they found a way to use them all. That made the path shorter, and kept the costs to a minimum.

The only downside - and I've read this elsewhere - is their milk toast diploma. When I received it in the mail, it was sort of a let down: small in size, and underwhelming in appearance (no degree program listed on the diploma itself, only "Bachelor of Science").

I believe it is high time to take those Marketing principles taught at the university, and really put them into action. Hey, a good looking diploma, can be a great way to attract new customers, and of course please the regulars so they will come back for more.

The day I find out that they've upgraded, I'll order a duplicate, specifically asking for the new design. In the meantime, it sits in my closet. But hey, I didn't go to school just to get a diploma, I went there to get an education, and did just that.

I pursued a degree in Management of Health Information Systems. I quit taking classes because I got a job offer before I was even finished with my degree. I have a good job, but I still have 6 electives to finish up which I should have done this year.

As I said, I found employment so I cant complain. I had a great instructor, she really tried hard to help the students and was very knowledgeable about the subject matter. My only gripe is that there is a required course called the kirkpatrick series which I found absurd. It was basically christian nationalism mixed with fiscal libertarianism. There were so many falsehoods, half truths, lies, opinions presented as facts and logical fallacies that I was astounded. There was just a complete absence of academic integrity. I was frankly very disappointed in this respect

I already had an Associates degree, as well as some additional credits, so I was able to complete the whole thing in a little over a year.

The only disappointment is the diploma that is issued. They should really give it the much needed overhaul it deserves, as the diploma can be such a great marketing tool. But other than the basic design diploma, I cannot complain. I now have an accredited BS, and will use it to my advantage in the future.
