I must address some of these negative feeds. Any college that you attend, either online or campus based, will have their faults. Students throughout history have had problems with either teachers, staff, or certain communications. As a student, one must expect some of these contingencies; however, if it is the education that you seek, I feel that you will find it at Argosy. What you are willing to put in, you will get out! As for representatives calling you in order to gain your enrollment, of course they are going to call you and harass you in order to gain a student! DUH!!!
If you are not interested, tell them. As for the $50 enrollment fee, in most circumstances they will waive that for you! No one is putting a gun to your head to make you attend college; you attend because you want the education and the good career path. If you are not willing to put in the work, then online school isn't for you. You will have to do a lot of reading and a lot of compositions! Being a full-time student is the same as having a full time job, if not more difficult. If you have to work to support yourself or your family, keep this in mind. The workload from a college can't be lessened because one has to work. A college education means work.
As for financial aid, let me tell you, I had only been enrolled in Argosy for 3 weeks and they had already released a stipend check for me! As for grades, they require that you maintain a certain GPA in order to pass the classes; I think this is a good thing. It shows that they take grades seriously! I love this college and have no problem finishing my MA in Forensic Psychology here!!

This school is way over rated..expensive... The staff is rude..rude..rude.. I felt pushed into going and then regreted it so much. 3 credits that tranfered and I had to wait to start my new school, waiting on my transcripts. I wish there was a way to take them to court for all the debt they racked up in financial aid on me. 28,000 for three credits...give me a break!!!
Word of wisdom, ask questions and ask about transfering credits... you will be amazed. They are nice until they got you!!! Then your S.O.L. I have just completed my third term at Everest University and already I have 37 credits in 9 months time,Do your homework when you decide..If they are pushy to the point you cannot think straight, believe me there is a good reason!!!

I took classes at Argosy University for 10 months. The day before Thanksgiving, they called me and said that suddenly my financial aid was not enough and I had to agree to pay them X amount of dollars a month out of pocket otherwise I would be locked out of class. Sure enough, I was locked out. The bachelor's degree here costs almost $64K when the same degree at a top 10 online school costs less than half that.
It seemed like every time I logged on, I'd have a different counselor. The turnover rate there seems very high. Once someone called me and stated that the other person had gotten "promotion with the company" and moved on. This was a big red flag for me.
In my first class, there was another student who clearly had no business in college. She wrote on a second grade level and her contributions were far removed from what we were instructed to do. The instructor treated her well but this was another red flag. It seems like they accept students just to get the money. Some of the instructors don't seem really interested. Some do. The classes are 5 weeks each which is something I loved but not enough to keep me there. I transferred out last week.

This school sucks, plain and simple. They want to take your money, but not give you a break when it comes to my computer crashing. I got online tonight to do my homework and their site is totally down. Do you think they will give me an extension on my schoolwork now?? Doubt it. Argosy is a JOKE.

I have attended Argosy for nearly two years now. It has been an awesome experience.I would recommend this school in a heartbeat! I love Argosy because of the learnig environment and the individuals who are there to aid in successful outcomes. The course material is easily assessable and teaches relevant information pertaining to each class. I would suggest this school over any other online program available.
