Overview
Ivy Bridge College is a branch of Tiffin University that offers a complete two-year education online. Instructors are trained in online teaching methods as well as skills needed to motivate students in this non-traditional academic atmosphere. Students receive the support and skills needed to compete in a growing job market and many of them go on to a traditional four-year university to continue their education. Tiffin University has been educating students since 1888 and the current online offerings shows that the school continues to keep pace with the growing demands of students and the job market.
Student Appeal
Taking classes from the comfort of one's home with a flexible schedule is one of the biggest attractions for students. Students enrolled in associate's degree programs also get teamed up with their own "success coach" to help them accomplish their academic goals. Students are also encouraged to form a relationship with their instructors as though they were in a traditional classroom setting. In addition, the online degrees come complete with the authorization of the Ohio Board of Regents and the school is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools Commission as well as the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs.
Financial
Students can begin the financial aid process by filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Once that is processed, they will find out the type of financial aid that they are eligible for, including grants, scholarships and loans. Online classes are much less expensive than traditional courses and that gives students a break on tuition, too. Ivy Bridge College also has an online system to inform you of your financial aid awards in a fraction of the time that it normally takes.
