  1. AARP Foundation Women's Scholarship Program
  2. This scholarship is awarded to women over the age of 40 who are enrolled in an accredited school or technical program within 6 months of the application date. AARP seeks to fund women who are furthering their education and seeking new job skills and training. It is awarded based on financial need.
  3. Talbots Women's Scholarship Fund
  4. This scholarship is for women seeking an undergraduate degree from an accredited two- or four-year college or university, or vocational-technical school. There are six $10,000 scholarshipsand 60 $1,000 scholarships. Awards are based on financial need and previous achievements for women who earned their high school diploma or GED at least 10 years ago.
  5. DigiPen Institute of Technology Women's Scholarship
  6. DigiPen Institute of Technology is offers ten $1000.00 scholarships to female U.S. permanent residents or citizens. The deadline is April 1.
  7. Jeannette Rankin Foundation Scholarships
  8. This scholarship is for females, age 35 or older, who are enrolled in or accepted to a regionally or ACICS accredited school, or pursuing a technical or vocational education. The scholarship is need-based and students must be US citizens.
  9. Project Red Flag Scholarship
  10. The National Hemophilia Foundation awards this scholarship to women with bleeding disorders including hemophilia and von Willebrand disease. There are 2 awards for $2,500 each.
  11. Selected Professions Fellowships—sponsored by the American Association of University Women (AAUW)
  12. Selected Professions Fellowships are given to women who intend to pursue a full-time course of study at accredited U.S. institutions. Students must be pursuing a degree where women's participation has bee traditionally low, like Architecture, Computer Science, Engineering, or math. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents.
  13. Society of Women Engineers Scholarship
  14. SWE awards individual scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $10,000 to freshmen through graduate students. In 2008, SWE national scholarship distributions were over $400,000. Qualifications vary.
  15. Thompson Scholarship for Women in Safety
  16. The Thompson Scholarship for Women in Safety will award one $1,000 scholarship to a student pursuing a graduate degree in occupational safety & health or another similar degree. Priority is given to women.
  17. AJM Scholarship
  18. The AJM Foundation provides scholarships to help Junior Miss participants further their education. Almost 400 schools are eligible. Scholarships vary in amount, and many are available to any participant that takes part in a Junior Miss Program.
  19. The William Rucker Greenwood Scholarship
  20. AWG-Potomac awards the $1,000 William Rucker Greenwood Scholarship annually through the AWG Foundation to honor outstanding minority women geoscience students. Applicants must be minority women who are currently enrolled full-time and pursuing a graduate or undergraduate geoscience degree in an accredited, degree-granting school in Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia, or West Virginia.
  21. Margaret McNamara Memorial Fund Scholarships
  22. The Margaret McNamara Memoria Fund awards $11,000 scholarships to women over age 25 from over 120 developing countries who are pursuing graduate degrees in the U.S. or Canada. Candidates must have a record of service to women or children in her country. They must also commit to performing 2 years of service in her county after graduation.
  23. Lesbian Caucas Scholarship
  24. The annual NWSA Lesbian Caucus Award provides a $500 research award in recognition of a Master’s Thesis or Doctoral Dissertation research project that resonates with the organization's mission and goals.
  25. Doyne M. Green Scholarship
  26. The Seattle Foundation awards this $4,000 scholarship to female Washington residents who have completed the first year of graduate study in law, medicine, or social or public services.
  27. Delta Gamma Foundation Scholarship
  28. Delta Gamma Foundation scholarships are awarded to qualified initiated members pursuing undergraduate degrees. Candidates must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and have completed either three semesters or four quarters of course work. The deadline is February 15.
  29. NWSA Women of Color Caucus Awards
  30. NWSA will award 4 $500 scholarships candidates in the following categories: graduate students of African descent, graduate students of Latina descent, graduate students of Asian/Asian-American/Pacific Islander/Arab/Middle East Asian descent, and graduate students of African Native American/American Indian/Alaskan Native descent.
  31. The Girls Going Places Entrepreneurship Award/Guardian's Initiative
  32. The Guardian's initiative rewards the enterprising spirits of girls ages 12 to 18. It gives 15 scholarships to girls who demonstrate entrepreneurship and are already making a difference in their schools and communities. Every year, the organization gives away $30,000 to help these girls save for college.
  33. Laurels Fund Scholarships
  34. The Laurels Fund awards scholarships to female students who are pursuing advanced degrees in accounting. The maximum award is $5,000. Students must have completed comprehensive exams prior to the previous Fall semester. Applications must be postmarked by May 30.
  35. Google Anita Borg Memorial Scholarship
  36. Google awards these $10,000 scholarships to encourage women to excel in computing and technology and become leaders.
  37. Cronk Opportunity Scholarship
  38. This scholarship is for women from the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Applicants must have left school for at least two years, be at least 21, be US citizens, and be pursuing undergraduate, graduate, professional, or vocational degrees. The average award is $1,000.
  39. Selected Professions Science and Technology Scholarships & Fellowships
  40. The Ethel Louise Armstrong Foundation awards this scholarshipto women graduate students with physical disabilities. They must be active in a local, state, or national disability organization and awards range from $500 to $2,000.
  41. AAUW Community Action Grants
  42. Community Action grants provide funds to individuals and various organizations for innovative programs or non-degree research projects that promote education and equity for women and girls. One-year grants have a maximum value of $7,000 and two-year grants have a maximum value of $10,000.
  43. ANS Delayed Education Scholarship for Women
  44. The American Nuclear Society awards this scholarship to a woman who has taken a break from her undergraduate studies in nuclear science, nuclear engineering, or a nuclear-related field.
  45. HORIZONS Scholarship
  46. Women In Defense awards this scholarship to women to help them pursue careers related to the national security and defense interests of the United States. It may also be awarded to women already working in these fields. Applicants must be women enrolled in a college or university, who demonstrate financial need and have maintained a minimum GPA of 3.25. Only US citizens are eligible.
  47. Amelia Kemp Scholarship
  48. This scholarship is for students of color from the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America who have experienced an interruption in education of at least two years. Candidates must be 21 or older and U.S. citizens. They must be pursuing undergraduate, graduate, professional, or vocational degrees. The average award is $600.
  49. Dorothy Harris Endowed Scholarship
  50. Female graduate students pursuing a full-time course of study at an accredited graduate school, majoring in a sports related field are eligible for this scholarship. Acceptable majors include sports psychology, physical education, sports administration, sports sociology, and kinesology. The awards are $1,500 to $3,000.
  51. Michael J. Freeman Scholarships for Irish Women Program
  52. The Michael J. Freeman Scholarships for Irish Women program awards scholarships to Irish women pursuing studies in Ireland.
  53. Kirsten R. Lorentzen Award
  54. The $1,000 Kirsten R. Lorentzen Award is is given to college sophomores and juniors studying physics--including space physics and geophysics--or geoscience. Students must excel academically and in extra-curricular activities such as outdoor activities, service, sports, and music, or have overcome significant obstacles.
  55. ARFORA / Martha Gavrila Scholarship for Women
  56. The Association of Romanian Orthodox Ladies Auxiliaries in America awards this $1,000 scholarship to women graduate students who are members of the Romanian Orthodox Episcopate of America.
  57. Glamour's Top 10 College Women Award
  58. This $3,000 scholarship is awarded to female college juniors from across the country for academic excellence and leadership skills. 2009 winners also received coverage in the June 2009 issue of Glamour magazine and won a trip to New York to meet other winners and female professionals in their field of study.
  59. Women in Need Scholarship
  60. The Women In Transition and Women In Need scholarship is given to female reentry students who wish to pursue a degree in accounting. The scholarship is available to incoming, current, or reentry juniors and provides up to $2,000 per year for two years.
  61. College Scholarships Foundation Women's Scholarship
  62. College Scholarships Foundation gives away $1,000 scholarships to female students each year. Students must be US citizens, have at least a 3.0 GPA, and be currently enrolled.
  63. Microsoft Graduate Women's Scholarship Program
  64. The $15,000 Microsoft Research Graduate Women’s Scholarship is a one-year scholarship for female graduate students and is designed to help increase the number of women pursuing a PhD. The scholarship also provides an extra $2,000 travel allowance to allow the student to attend a conference in their field of study.
  65. NWSA Women's/Gender Studies Student Scholarships
  66. NWSA will award $1,000 to a student working on a Master's Thesis or Ph.D. Dissertation in women's studies.
  67. Renate W. Chasman Scholarship
  68. The $2,000 Chasman Award is presented in July of each year. Applicants must be women returning to school after a break in their education who are majoring in natural sciences, engineering or mathematics. Candidates must be junior or senior undergraduate students or first-year graduate students. They must also be residents of Long Island in New York State and U.S. citizens or permanent resident aliens.
  69. The Merck Index in Chemistry Scholarships
  70. The Merck Index Women in Chemistry Scholarships are awarded to encourage women to pursue careers in chemistry. Merck & Co., Inc. gives five $5000 scholarships to women entering into their first year of an organic chemistry PhD program in the US or Canada.
  71. The Penelope Hanshaw Scholarship
  72. This $500 scholarship is for full-time, graduate or undergraduate geoscience majors in an accredited, degree-granting college or university in Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia, or West Virginia. Students must demonstrate academic excellence and leadership skills, have a minimum GPA of 3.0, be involved in the geoscience and earth-science community.
  73. GoGirlGo! Award
  74. The Ambassador Team Awards awards $50,000 in grants to teams that demonstrate leadership by inspiring girls to get involved in sports and other physical activity. Applicants must be female high school students in the U.S. and its territories.
  75. Ethnic Minority and Women's Enhancement Postgraduate Scholarship for Careers in Athletics
  76. The NCAA awards 26 postgraduate scholarships to help minorities and females participate in intercollegiate athletics. The scholarships will be split evenly between ethnic minorities and and female college graduates who will be entering their initial year of postgraduate studies.
  77. AARP Foundation Women's Scholarship Program
  78. The AARP Foundation's Women's Scholarship Program awards scholarships to women above the age of 40 who are seeking new job skills and educational opportunities to support themselves and their families. Candidates must demonstrate financial need and and are enrolled in an accredited school or vocational program.
  79. Dorothy L. Weller P.E.O. Scholarship
  80. This award is granted to California women pursuing a degree in law. Students must be enrolled in an accredited college or university or a licensed paralegal school. The number of awards and amount of each award vary.
  81. Michelle L. McDonald Scholarship
  82. This $1,000 scholarship is for women who are returning to college from the work force or after raising children. Students must be pursuing a degree in accounting.
  83. Ethel Louise Armstrong Foundation Scholarship
  84. ELA is committed to expanding opportunities for female graduate students with disabilities as well as developing future leadership in the disability community. The ELA Foundation will award one or two scholarships each year to female graduate students with disabilities. Scholarships are worth up to $2,000 and will be awarded in August based on merit.
  85. P.E.O. International Peace Scholarship Fund
  86. These scholarships are for international women students pursuing a graduate degree in the United States and Canada. The number of awards and amount of each award vary.
  87. Justice Pauline Davis Hanson Scholarship
  88. The Fresno County Women Lawyers awards this scholarship each Spring to a female law student. Candidates must be a second, third or fourth year student who is a former or current resident of Fresno, Kings, Madera or Tulare County. Applicants must demonstrate financial need and community involvement.
  89. Women's Western Golf Foundation Scholarship
  90. This $2,000 scholarship is for women who are involved with the world of golf. Applicants must be U.S. citizens and demonstrate academic achievement, financial need, and excellence of character. Skill or excellence in golf is not a requirement.
  91. Janet Cullen Tanaka Scholarship
  92. This scholarship is for undergraduate women pursuing a Bachelor's Degree and a career or graduate work in the geosciences. Eligible fields of study include Geology, environmental and engineering geology, geochemistry, geophysics, hydrogeology, and hydrology. Students must be in at least their second year of a two- or four-year college in Oregon or Washington State and have a minimum GPA of 3.2.
  93. Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarships
  94. These $5,000 scholarships are for undergraduate female business majors who demonstrate outstanding potential and are entering their third of fourth year when the scholarships are awarded.
  95. Girls Incorporated Lucile Miller Wright Scholars Program
  96. Multiple scholarships of $2,500 and $15,000 are awarded each year to young women who are in the 11th or 12th grade and who are members of a Girls Incorporated affiliate. The goal is to help young females finance their education.
  97. Calgon Take Me Away Essay Contest for Women
  98. The Calgon Take Me Away to College Scholarship competition is awarded to females, 18 or older who are starting college full-time in the fall or are already be enrolled at an accredited four-year school in the U.S. Students must be US citizens and have a minimum GPA of 3.0. The awards range from $1,000 to $7,000.
  99. African-American Women in Computer Science: College Scholarships
  100. The grant provides scholarships from $4000 to $10,000 each year to female African American students who have an interest in computer science or information technology. This is a four-year program and awards are based on financial need.
