The minimum cumulative GPA is 2.75. The award is $1,000 and may be combined with the Transfer Scholar's Award.
  25. C.W. Post Co-op Scholarship
  26. C.W. Post merit co-op scholarships are awarded to high school seniors and transfer students who plan to participate in Cooperative Education at C.W. Post. Entering full-time freshmen and transfer students may compete for up to ten $6,000 scholarships and must have a cumulative average GPA of 3.5 or better. Students must be registered full time and paying the flat undergraduate tuition rate.
  27. Canisius College Transfer Student Scholarship
  28. Students who are accepted for transfer admission to Canisius are automatically evaluated for transfer scholarships ranging from $4,000 to $12,000 based on academic merit.   31. Centenary College of Louisiana Academic Scholarships for Transfer Students
  32. Students transferring to Centenary College are eligible to be considered for an any of the 3 academic scholarships ranging from $6,000 to $10,000, if they have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater from all colleges previously attended. These scholarships get automatically renewed for up to 3 years as long as the recipient maintains full-time status and maintains a 2.5 GPA.   68. Kent State University provides scholarships ranging from $3,700 - $4,700 per year toward the out-of-state surcharge to transfer students with minimum cumulative GPA of 2.25 or 3.0. The amount awarded varies each year. The 2+2+2 Engineering Program is a cooperative venture between the Lansing School District, Lansing Community College, and Michigan State University.
  73. Lebanon Valley College Academic Recognition Scholarship
  74. Lebanon Valley College offers this half-tuition scholarship to transfer students who complete a two-year transfer program or complete their associate's degree and achieve membership in Phi Theta Kappa. This award is renewable and may be held for a maximum of five semesters. Students must maintain full-time enrollment at LVC, maintain a 3.0 GPA , and remain in good social standing.

  77. Miami University Pathways Scholarship
  78. This renewable transfer scholarship of $3,000 is offered by Miami University to students transferring directly from an accredited Ohio community college. Student must have attended the community college for two years or earned 24 semester- or 36 quarter-hours and have a 3.40 minimum GPA.

  80. MSU has 5 different scholarships for incoming transfer students. The scholarships are awarded based on extra curricular activities and academic performance. The amount awarded to each student varies each year.
  81. National Competitive Scholarships
  82. National Competitive Scholarships are funded by government entities and private agencies, making them open to students nationwide. The different national scholarships are meant for students with an interest in fields such as science, engineering, government, languages, and environment. There are some full-ride scholarships.
  83. National University Community Scholarship
  84. There are 3 types of scholarships available to students from community colleges who transfer to National University ranging from $1,600 to $2,700. As part of the agreement signed between it and the California Community College, National University will waive the standard $60 application fee for transfer students, and provide scholarships to every community college transfer student, which will pay for the student’s final two classes in his or her degree program. To be eligible, transferring students must be in good academic standing at the time of application.

Offered in collaboration with the Hispanic Scholarship Fund, this program provides scholarships of $2,500 to Latino students transferring from a community college to an approved, accredited higher education institution. Students must be of Hispanic Heritage, a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident with a permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551 (not expired), and be enrolled part-time or full-time at a community college. Students must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and must apply for federal financial aid.
