  1. The John R. Mott Scholarship Foundation
  2. Applicants must be natives to the region of Calabria Italy, enrolled to attend any accredited post-secondary school, and must be seeking a degree or professional certification. Preference is given to students from the town of Serra D’Aielo and the city and province of Cosenza.
  3. AIFS Study Abroad Scholarships
  4. AIFS offers several different study abroad scholarships for summer and semester programs, awarding more than $60,000 each year to students who demonstrate high academic achievement. There are study abroad scholarships specifically for minorities and for students who have already studied abroad with AIFS.
  5. Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program
  6. Through the Institute of International Education, US undergraduate students receiving federal Pell Grants can apply for the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program. The Gilman International Scholarships will provide up to $5,000. Students must be pursuing a degree at a two- or four-year institution overseas.
  7. Brandeis Scholarships for Study Abroad
  8. The Brandeis University grant competition is for students on financial aid, planning to study abroad. Awards range from $500 to $1,500.
  9. Bridging Scholarships for Study in Japan
  10. ATJ awards 100 scholorships to American undergrad students, covering tuition and living expenses while they study in Japan. Recipients are awarded $2,500 for semester long programs and $4,000 for year long programs.
  11. British Universities Transatlantic Exchange Association Scholarships
  12. BUTEX awards 16 scholorships to students studying abroad for a semester or whole year. Eight scholorships are available to UK students studying abroad in the USA and eight are available to North American students studying in the UK. The value of each scholorship is 500 pounds and will be paid to the winners once the arrive at their host university.
  13. Center for Global Education Scholarship Opportunities
  14. The center offers scholarships for students that belong to historically underrepresented groups. Selection will be based on the applicant's ability to articulate their reasons for enrolling in the program and how they will share their experience upon returning to the US. The award ranges from $500 to $3,000.
  15. Centre for International Mobility (CIMO)
  16. CIMO administers scholarships for 700 international students, post graduate students, researchers, teachers, and administrative staff who come to Finland under this program each year.
  17. CIEE Scholarships
  18. Hashi.org, a nonprofit focusing on education and cultural exchange, is accepting applications for its Travel Scholarship.
  19. Critical Language Scholarships
  20. The Critical Language Scholarship Program - a program of US Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs - offers group-based intensive language instruction and structured cultural enrichment experiences for seven to ten week. Students must be U.S. citizens and undergraduate, Master’s, and Ph.D. students are eligible.
  21. DAAD Scholarships
  22. DAAD offers a wide range of opportunities to students, scholars, and higher education institutions of the US and Canada, from undergraduate students to faculty, for study and research in Germany. Qualifications and award amounts vary.
  23. ESU-SF Scholarship Programs
  24. Each year the San Francisco Branch, with the support of the Anglo-California Foundation, awards several $20,000 scholarships to Bay Area college graduates for post-graduate study at British Universities.
  25. Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) Chevening Programme
  26. Applicants for the Chevening Awards should be graduate leaders who are motivated to make a career that will take them to positions of leadership in their own country within 10 years of their scholarship, committed to networking to find global solutions, and able to use their studies and experience in the UK to benefit themselves, their countries, and the UK.
  27. Freeman Asia Scholarships
  28. The Freeman Awards for Study in Asia aim to increase the number of U.S. undergraduates who study in East and Southeast Asia, by providing them with information and financial assistance. Applicants must been accepted or have applied to a study abroad based program in one of the following countries: Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Laos, Macao, Malaysia, Mongolia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam.
  29. Gates Cambridge Scholarships
  30. The fund provides full cost scholarships for students from outside the UK to pursue graduate study and research at one of the world's leading universities. Qualifications and award amounts vary.
  31. George J. Mitchell Scholarship Program
  32. The Mitchell Institute awards a scholarship to a graduating senior from every public high school in Maine awarding up to $5,000 for students who are pursuing a four-year degree and $2,500 for students pursuing a two-year degree. One scholarship per county in the amount of $6,000 ($1,500 per year) is awarded with a preference to a first-generation college student.
  33. Guide To Online Schools Study Abroad Scholarship
  34. Guide To Online Schools is offering a $2,000 needs-based scholarship to students who can demonstrate their analytical thinking and creativity through a series of short answer questions.
  35. HACU-Global Learning Semesters Program: Hispanic Study Abroad Scholars
  36. Global Learning Semesters (GLS) will offer one $1,000 scholarship to a student nominated from each HACU member institution, for one of their 35 study abroad opportunities.
  37. Henry Luce Foundation: Luce Scholars Programseparator
  38. Candidates for the 18 stipends and internships to live and work in Asia must be American citizens who have at least a bachelor’s degree and are no more than 29 years old on September 1 of the year they enter the program, and must be nominated by one of the eligible sixty-seven colleges and universities.
  39. IAESTE United States Scholarships
  40. IAESTE sponsors paid internships abroad in more than 70 countries the UK and Ireland. Eligible applicants must be in a technical field of study, attend an accredited U.S. university full-time, be between ages 18 and 30, and have junior standing.
  41. IES Abroad Diversity Scholarships
  42. IES Diversity Scholarships encourage and support students from under-represented populations, including under-represented racial and ethnic groups, first generation college students, students from low income families, and students with a history of overcoming adversity. Applicants be admitted to and attend an IES Abroad program to be considered.
  43. Institute for Study Abroad
  44. UW-Platteville's mission is to create programs with enriching living & learning experiences abroad. Applicants must have at least sophomore standing, a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5, and to degree-seeking undergraduate students who are currently enrolled at a US-based college or university.
  45. International Studies Abroad Scholarships
  46. The Dr. Carlos E. Castañeda Memorial Scholarships were established help students who may not otherwise be able to study abroad. Award amounts vary.
  47. John T. Petters Scholarships
  48. The John T. Petters Foundation focuses its scholarships to support international business study abroad and social entrepreneurship service programs. The number and amount of awards varies.
  49. Joseph A. Towles African Study Abroad Scholarship
  50. This scholarship, in memory of Dr. Joseph A. Towles, is open to UNCF students who have been accepted into a study abroad program in Africa. Scholarships are awarded in amounts up to $15,000.
  51. Marshall Scholarships
  52. Marshall Scholarships finance young Americans of high ability to study for a degree in the United Kingdom. Up to 40 scholarships are awarded annually.
  53. Menzies Foundation Scholarships
  54. This scholarship is offered jointly by the Menzies Research Institute and Heart Foundation Tasmania. Awards are $10,000 each.
  55. Morgan Stanley Scholarships for Study in Japan
  56. This fund awards two scholarships of $7,500 each to an undergraduate student from a US college or university who will study abroad in Japan for a full academic year and who is interested in international business and finance.
  57. Nina T. Shepherd Award for Study Abroad
  58. In honor of Nina T. Shepherd, founding director, the fund awards two scholarships of $1,000 for the Spring 2010 semester.
  59. NSEP (National Security Education Program)
  60. The NSEP requires that award recipients work in the Departments of Defense, Homeland Security, State, or the Intelligence Community, and use the language and regional expertise acquired while working for the U.S. government.
  61. Rotary Foundation Ambassadorial Scholarships
  62. The fund will award 1,200 scholarships from clubs worldwide, in amounts up to $23,000. The scholarships provide for one year of study abroud in one of the 162 countries and 35 geographical regions in which Rotary Clubs are located.
  63. Semester at Sea
  64. ISE awards scholarships or work grants to approximately 40% of participants, totalling $3.25 million annually.
  65. Simpson Egyptology Scholarshipseparator
  66. The Simpson Scholarships in Egyptology are available to junior and senior Study Abroad Program students who wish to concentrate their studies at the American University in Cairo on the history and culture of Ancient Egypt.
  67. Texas A&M University Study Abroad Scholarships
  68. This is primarily a need-based scholarship with funds contributed through the generosity of the Association of Former Students, Barnes & Noble Bookstore, and Global scholarships. Funding can vary depending on the length of program, and is granted to a student only once.
  69. The Alliance for Global Education Scholarships
  70. The Alliance for Global Education to award two scholarships of $6,000 & twenty $2,500 scholarships for 08-09 & 09-10 academic year. Students that have been accepted into the Alliance are eligible for study abroad scholorships awarded up to $2,00 per student fall & spring semester. Up to $1,000 per students for summer term.
  71. The Churchill Scholarship
  72. The Churchhill scholarship offers American students t the opportunity to pursue graduate studies in engineering, mathematics, or science at the churchhill college. Churchhill scholarships are worth between $44,000 -$50,000.
  73. The College of Global Studies at Arcadia University Scholarship Programs
  74. Scholarships ranging from $500 to $5,000 will be awarded to qualified students participating in the London Now, Arcadia in Barcelona, and Sydney Internship programs for the fall, spring, or academic year. Award decisions are based on financial need .
  75. The David L. Boren Scholarship
  76. Boren Scholarships provide up to $20,000 to U.S. undergraduate students studying abroad in areas of the world deemed critical to U.S. interests and underrepresented in study abroad, including Africa, Asia, Central & Eastern Europe, Eurasia, Latin American, and the Middle East.
  77. The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi
  78. Phi Kappa Phi Study Abroad Grants are designed to help support undergraduates as they study abroad. Forty-five $1,000 grants are awarded each year.
  79. The KAUST Discovery Scholarship
  80. The KAUST Discovery Scholarship is the general scholarship program of King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). The number of scholarship recipients varies.
  81. The Kosciuszko Foundation Tuition Scholarships
  82. Kosciuszko Foundation Tuition Scholarships support American students of Polish descent for full-time graduate studies in the United States, the one-year Master's program at the Center for European Studies, Jagiellonian University, Cracow, and English Schools of Medicine in Poland. Scholarships range from $1,000 to $7,000.
  83. The Rhodes Scholarships
  84. Each year, 32 U. S. citizens are among more than 80 Rhodes Scholars worldwide who receive Rhodes Scholarships to study at Oxford.
  85. The School for Field Studies
  86. Applicants for the School for Field Studies (SFS), are required to have a minimum 2.7 cumulative GPA for semester applicants, minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA for summer applicants, and 3.7 GPA for high school applicants), e and appropriatcoursework, responses to short essay questions, and both academic and character references.
  87. The Sharif Rahman Memorial Scholarship Program
  88. FIE established the Sharif Rahman Scholarship program in 2003. The $1,000 scholarships are open to all students enrolled in FIE programs. Application is by competition.
  89. The University of California Education Abroad Program (EAP) Scholarships
  90. The scholarships are dispersed through Campus EAP Offices. Awards range from $250 to $2,000.
  91. The Weidenfeld Scholarships
  92. Scholarships will be awarded to approximately approximately 25-30 students, of whom 4 will be US candidates. Winners will receive awards covering all educational costs, plus living expenses. Applicants must be able to demonstrate that they aspire to contribute to the public good in their country or region.
  93. UC Education Abroad Program Scholarships
  94. These scholarships promote education by awarding over 40 scholarships of $5,000 each for year-length EAP programs. Winners are selected annually based on academic performance and financial need.
  95. University of Memphis Study Abroad Scholarships
  96. Competitive Study Abroad Scholarships are available for full-time graduate and undergraduate students at The University of Memphis. Undergraduate students must have completed 45 semester hours and have a minimum 2.75 GPA. The numbers and amounts of awards vary.
  97. University of Missouri Study Abroad Scholarships
  98. Study Abroad Scholarships range from $500 to $1,250 per semester and $250 - $500 per summer/short term, depending on the number of applicants and donations received. Priority is given to students who participate in UM-St. Louis sponsored programs.
  99. University of North Carolina Study Abroad Scholarships
  100. Students have the flexibility to apply for an award even if they have not applied for a program, allowing them to determine if scholarship support is available in advance. Award amounts vary.
  101. WSU Education Abroad Scholarships--Education Abroad Endowment
  102. This award is granted to enable WSU students to pursue an education abroad experience in hopes that recipients in the future may also help provide similar opportunities for others. This scholarship will be awarded to WSU’s most qualified undergraduate student who maintains a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher, demonstrates financial need, and who will participate in one of WSU’s education abroad programs.
