A master's degree is the entry-level degree needed to enter a career in sports psychology, but students will benefit by preparing with a bachelor's degree in psychology. Yes and no. To officially finish a degree program in sports psychology one, you will probably not have to physically show up in order to complete the diploma process. However, most states mandate hundreds (if not thousands) of hours of supervised work experience in order to actually practice sports psychology.
