Personal training programs teach students how to work individually with clients to help them meet their specific fitness goals. These programs take one to two years to complete and include courses in anatomy and physiology, kinesiology, fitness evaluation, exercise program development, and exercise execution. On-site lab courses teach students how to work with clients to demonstrate proper exercise form.
