Anasthesia technicians are required to have an associates degree or a certificate for entry-level jobs. Eligibility for the certification exam is a high school diploma, you do not need to have a college degree.

Is Anesthesia Tech offered online, and what degrees can you receive in this field?
Submitted on: April 22, 2012

Yes, you can study to become an anesthetia tech online, though in this field you are advised to pair an online education with a hands-on internship. The most common qualification for an anesthesia tech is a two-year associate's degree, and it is also possible to get a pre-med bachelor's degree in order to pursue this career path. North Seattle Community College, among other schools, offers an online anesthesia tech program.
