Overview
Founded in 1964, CSB School of Broadcasting provides education and training to those students interested in pursuing careers in public broadcasting for radio, television, and sports. Students learn fundamental techniques and familiarize themselves with industry technology in as little as eight weeks at any of 20 campuses across the country.
Student Appeal
Hands-on learning is emphasized to help students visualize broadcasting careers through experience. CSB faculty and staff assist students in cultivating existing interests and talents in broadcast entertainment, while preparing them for growing career opportunities. Flexible day and night classes are available to accommodate busy working schedules, while industry-standard curriculum allows all students to receive the same quality of education that their fields demand. Career placement assistance is offered to students and alumni to provide support well after graduation. Alumni may also return to refresh skills, access facilities, or consult with faculty even after they have graduated and started a career.
Financial
Financial assistance includes financing, flexible payment plans, scholarships, and Veteran benefits. Scholarship opportunities include a full-tuition essay scholarship available to high school students. Scholarships are offered each semester and are awarded by judges from each campus.
