Overview
City University of Seattle first opened in 1973, with the goal of educating students who were not being fully served through traditional means. City University is a private, not-for-profit school. Classes are offered in the day, evening, on weekends, or online in order to allow students to balance their busy lives with their schoolwork. The university has a wide variety of undergraduate, graduate and certificate programs in areas including business, psychology and communications. The majority of the school's students are working adults.

Student Appeal
At City University, students can take classes online from anywhere in the world. Classes are designed to work around students’ busy schedules, and a heavy emphasis is placed upon practicality, so that students can put to use what they learn in the classroom. A wide range of student services are available on the physical campus, and for online courses, students get all the technical support and help that they need.
