From its Pennsylvania campus, Berks Technical Institute provides specialized career training diplomas and degrees in Medical, Business, Criminal Justice, and Information Technology. BTI uses hands-on training in addition to classroom theory to promote learning.

Financial aid is available for qualified students and includes Federal Aid along with the Berks Technical Institute Scholarship-$85,000 in merit-based scholarships to graduating high school seniors upon successful completion of the BTI Scholarship Test (free).

    • Professional Massage TherapistProfessional Massage Therapist
      Through this 9-month (day program) or 12-month (evening program), receive training in various massage techniques and human anatomy/physiology to pursue a professional career as a Massage Therapist. Externship opportunities provide students with experience working in chiropractors' offices, spas, and clinics to complete their education.

    • Internet/Network EngineeringInternet/Network Engineering
      Develop a knowledge foundation of administrator perspectives on word processing, spreadsheets, database, operating systems, and networking along with hardware and software installation and configuration--completed in 24 months. Graduates will be prepared for certification for A+, Certified Novell Administrator (CNA), and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE).
    • Network/Internet ProfessionalNetwork/Internet Professional
      18-month (day); 24-month (evening)
      Learn computer administrator and support skills to qualify as a comprehensive understanding of personal computing and network hardware from repair and installation perspectives. Graduates will be prepared for certification for A+, Certified Novell Administrator (CNA), and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE).
    • Drafting TechnologyDrafting Technology
      21-month (day); 27-month (evening)
      Develop skills in Mechanical Drawing and Architectural Drafting to familiarize with contemporary drafting standards, symbols, and nomenclature. First-hand experience in the Computer Aided Drafting lab will provide AutoCAD training that parallels professional expectations.

      Learn about the history of graphic design along with today's design trends to guide the tools, technical knowledge, and creative skills to become a graphic designer. Training includes design principles on high end equipment and industry-standard employer expectations in desktop publishing, graphic design, and commercial art and printing.

      Gain advanced medical and computer application knowledge and training to assist physicians in specialty medical settings. Learn Medical Insurance Billing and Coding or Medical Office Management to pursue professional careers in medical administration and management. Graduates are prepared to pursue professional certification in Certified Medical Assistant, Medical Transcription, EKG, Phlebotomy, and Medical Coding Specialist.
