Overview
Anthem College, formerly affiliated with Cambridge College, has offered job training for career-focused students. Real world experience in conjunction with classroom instruction provides skills for a career in the fields of computer networking, electronics, medical assistance and CAD technology, among others. AC is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT). Three campuses are conveniently located in Arizona, Colorado, and Oregon.

Student Appeal
Students are attracted to Anthem College because of the job placement services that it offers. In addition to training, the Graduate Placement Department helps graduating students create a resume, practice interview skills and search job placement ads for the best opportunities in each individual student’s field. Free academic tutoring is also available and the Student Services department also helps students find nearby places to live.

Financial
Anthem College offers qualified students a broad range of options for affording tuition. The Financial Assistance department provides grants, loans and scholarships to low-income students and highly-skilled students as well. The school has its own loan program which provides private options exclusively for AC students. Military personnel and veterans are also eligible for Federal Military Aid to help fund their education.

  • CAD/Drafting TechnologyCAD/Drafting Technology
    Students in this program learn effective ways to transform their drawing skills into a career. The curriculum focuses on software similar to the type that surveyors, architects and engineers use in the work field to provide a smooth transition into each student's desired career.
  • Computer Networking & SecurityComputer Networking & Security
    The main focus of this program is to provide students with the skills needed to deal with the latest threats to computer security. Installing computer networks and security policies are also covered. Graduates tend to find jobs in computer-related fields in the corporate field to help keep their networks safer.
  • Dental AssistantDental Assistant
    This program prepares students to provide instruments and materials to a dentist, sterilize equipment, and prepare setups for dental procedures. Students also receive first-hand experience through externship study in a dental facility.
  • Electronics TechnologyElectronics Technology
    Students who want to learn the basics of electronics and how they work benefit from completing this course. Installing, maintaining and repairing the latest gadgets and equipment are covered under this curriculum. Instructors also teach techniques to help students receive A+ certification.
  • Massage TherapyMassage Therapy
    Graduates of the Massage Therapy program are prepared to use therapeutic techniques to treat soft tissues and relieve muscle pain. Education also includes first aid and CPR certification.
  • Medical AssistantMedical Assistant
    Students wishing to work in a medical-related field learn the skills needed upon completion of this program. Medical assistants perform a wide range of tasks, including filing, updating records and billing. Graduates find jobs in clinics, doctors' offices, hospitals and other similar settings.
  • Medical Billing & CodingMedical Billing & Coding
    Students are prepared to maintain medical records, ensure proper completion of forms, and perform administrative duties without interacting directly with patients. Careers are available in hospitals, nursing homes, insurance companies, clinics, and doctors' offices.
  • Pharmacy TechnicianPharmacy Technician
    This program teaches students the skills to help pharmacists provide medication to patients with training in interpreting orders, maintaining records, dose charts, inventory, and order processing for hospital pharmacies and retail pharmacies.
  • Surgical TechnologistSurgical Technologist
    The Surgical Technologist program prepares students to assist in surgical operations under the supervision of a surgeon. Students learn anatomy and physiology, operating room training, lab procedures, CPR, sterilization of equipment, bandaging, and patient preparation. An externship is included as part of the curriculum and takes place at a medical facility.
  • X-ray Technician (Limited Scope)X-ray Technician (Limited Scope)
    Students learn anatomy and physiology along with fundamental radiographic physics, lab training, and CPR. Additional training includes venipuncture, injections, urinalysis, and x-ray film processing.
