Overview
Since its foundation in 1936, Academy College has provided professional career training in Aviation, Business, IT, Design, and Healthcare. Located in Bloomington, Minnesota, Academy offers Certificate, Associate, and Bachelor Degree instruction with individual attention and specialized focus to prepare graduates for direct employment in an in-demand career.
Student Appeal
Instructors make a special effort to provide individual attention to students with small class sizes and longer labs to permit students the opportunity to work directly with instructors for extra attention. Flexible morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend classes accommodate busy working schedules. Student services are available to assist in academic study, career advising, counseling, and resume writing. Career Placement assistance is available to students even following graduation.
Financial
Financial aid is available to qualified students in the form of federal and state loans, grants, and work study. Scholarship opportunities are also available based on merit and need and includes institutional scholarships for new students along with additional awards for current Academy students. Academy College is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools and licensed by the Minnesota Higher Education Services Office.
